It's OK!

Happy Friday! Like R. Kelly says, "It's the freakin' weekend baby about to have me some fun!" The weather has been amazing the past few days. This morning was no exception. I ran five miles and it was the best run I've had in a long time. I think Melissa's got her groove back!

Dinner last night was delicious. I took a tip from Shannon and mixed a wedge of Laughing Cow Garlic & Herb with spaghetti squash. YUMMMMYYY!

I also grilled up a veggie burger and broccoli in tomato sauce with chopped garlic. Like I said, yummy :)

Being Friday and all, it's time for It's OK! Inspired by Glamour Magazine's "It's OK..." feature where they assure us that our weird little habits are completely normal, I'm dedicating this post to assuring you it's okay to do the following this weekend:

It's okay...
  • to sing to your puppy when you're home alone with him. It's not like he's Simon Cowell.
  • to cook too much and end up eating the same thing for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • to insist that all of the books on the bookshelf be in order by color.
  • to be walking along, break out into the Soulja Boy Superman dance, and then continue walking normally.
  • to enter my giveaway!
I'm about to leave work and head to school to take a test. Let the weekend begin! Good luck to my friends running in NYC this weekend. You ladies (and gents) are going to rock it!

So happy it's Friday! Glad your run went well, it is SO beautiful out.

I was reading your post below about the weight loss, do you like ice cream? I feel like ice cream is a good way to add calories without being INSANELY unhealthy- not that ice cream is healthy but it has some nutritional value right?

yay for spring! haha I am definitely feeling the second one, always have leftovers. Have a good weekend!

Love the idea of overprepping the food so you have leftovers for all 3 meals. Not much for variety, but so yummy and a timesaver. I love leftovers and they make the best packed lunches.

Laughing Cow with spaghetti squash is my new favorite!

I sing to my cats when I'm home alone. And now my poor unborn child has to listen too!

Good luck on your test!

I have to say spaghetti squash is not my favorite, but you did say it grew on you. Maybe I should try it again? It's a texture thing...
Yay for a good run. I hope I can do that tomorrow.

I love when Shannon does the LC and spaghetti squash. I may have to go out and get some LC soon because I've been reading a lot of new creative ways to use it lately. Someone put it inside an egg the other day (sunny side up) and I just thought it sounded so good!

Books Iin order by color? I would do something like that too. I have weird organizational thoughts going on my head...it's a disease I tell you.

HAve a great weekend!
