Not So Lazy Sunday

Hi friends! I hope you had a good, productive Sunday. I sure did! After waking up, I worked my abs and did my strength training routine. I started to do a cardio workout hosted by Kendall Hogan on exercisetv, but it was easy and boring that I quit after five minutes. It was a waste of my time so I threw on my coat and went to the gym. At the gym, I did 20 minutes on the elliptical. Once I returned home I realized my back was KILLING me. I decided to just ignore it and carry on with day as planned.

I dug into my favorite tub of heaven while watching Newt Gingrich be a complete hypocrite on Meet The Press:

Vanilla Chobani with 1/4 Kashi GoLean Crunch.

After breakfast I decided to brave the mall because I needed to exchange a sweater at Express. I ended up with some great deals! I exchanged the sweater for a shell/cardigan set and then went to H&M and got another shell/cardigan set using a gift card. They're very "Emma" from Glee. She and I share a similar style. We're both quirky and cute!

It was oattime when I got home.

1/2 cup oats, 1/4 cup fat free cottage cheese, 1/4 cup pumpkin, raisins, pumpkin pie spice, and a small glob of White Chocolate Dreams. So addicted to that stuff!

I rested for a little bit and read "The Secret" that Julie is letting me borrow. I totally believe it. It's all about the power of positive thinking and the law of attraction. If you believe it, it can happen. Oprah says so. I'm not an Oprah fan, but I know darn well that what she says goes.

Dinner tonight was at my favorite...Fat Cat. I love this place. It's usually packed and there's always a wait, but it's worth it! I ordered the shuttle salad.

Greens, dried cranberries, soft goat cheese, shrimp, and balsamic on the side. I guzzled a Diet Coke with it.

If I wore my glasses, I would've been able to tell it was empty. I love the decor in the bathroom. It's definitely my style.

Isn't the cat in the corner cute? Poor thing, he has to watch people pee all night long :(

Now, I'm downloading music for my January playlist. This song has been rocking my December, and it'll be carried over to the playlist for January:

Sleep well!

I totally believe in the power of positive thinking and laws of attraction, too! The book is great, even though that guy that wrote it it kind of a weirdo now. :)

That salad looks super yummy. Ooohh I don't think I can buy that white chocolate wonderful for a while. I at the last jar really quickly - and mostly straight from the jar.

Hope your back is feeling better!
Haha - I just got a book called "Living Oprah"...about a woman who 'followed' her a year (watched her shows, etc.) and did everything she said to do...should be interesting!!

My back has been really sore lately for some reason, and I'm not sure why. Do you think the elliptical has something to do with it?? Ugh. I hope not!!

I was at the mall yesterday but got there too early, it wasn't even open!! I wanted to go to Express but I had to leave :( I was bummed.

I love your attitude and bluntness, regarding your comment on my post. I can't stand how people follow food trends even without knowing anything about them. I think the Green Monster thing is ok, because it's obviously healthy, but yeah the whole agave thing, and Aquai, I mean, come on!

The bathroom is so cute. I love the colors. I was in one the other night and to match the decor, they had black toilet paper. It was neat, but also kinda freaked me out.
