I arrived at the testing center early and was done in about 25 minutes. Yup. It was that easy. I think they just wanted to see if I could add and subtract. I feel foolish for stressing myself out over something that my 8 year old niece could've passed. Actually, I'm thankful it was that easy. I am kind of worried that they didn't get my transcripts though. I have a degree in business, I shouldn't have had to take a math test. Maybe I should call them tomorrow. See! I'm stressing out again! Hahaha!
Dinner tonight was the other half of the spaghetti squash I had last week. I was surprised it kept so well in the fridge. I mixed the strands with a small spoonful of plain Oikos, broccoli, tomato, and dark red kidney beans. I served it over a salad of romaine and carrot with just a sprinkle of feta. Mixing tomato with spaghetti squash was very flavorful. They were perfect compliments, with each bringing out the flavor in the other. The kidney beans were a good contrast to the sweet spaghetti squash. A delicious dinner was what I needed after a stressful day.
Time to relax before I head to bed. Another busy day awaits! Do you stress easily or are you more laid back?

At least the test ended up being no big deal. It's a huge relief when you realize your stressing was for nothing.
I stress SO easily. I'm better than I used to be but I get worked up really easily. Deep calming breaths, haha.
I had spaghetti squash tonight too!! :)
I stress easily too!! I'm trying to do better though... aromatherapy, yoga, and prayer all help me relax. I'm also trying to incorporate more music into my life b/c it has a powerful impact on my mood.
Enjoy your evening!
Hi Melissa! I try not to let the little things stress me out, but they often do. I find a nice long run always helps!
haha i def am simlar to you- i stress VERY easily! hope you have a great day tomorrow :)

good luck with all of your stressful stuff!! I try to run, take a hot bath, pray, or have lunch with a good friend when im stressed!
if I said I was more laid back, well this would be a lie...i tend to get VERY stressed out and my whole family is aware of it...I tend to think too much about everything, as my mom says-"i have too many doors open" when I start something, I will think of something else I need to do then start that so I have lots of things to do and they are all half done! I have found that its better for me to just focus on ONE thing, finish it, then move on!

I stress out very easily. It's something I've been trying to work on. My husband is much more of a go-with-the-flow kind of person, so that helps balance me out.
I'm glad the test is over. I knew you'd be fine!
Ohhhh I'm a stressed gal!! I am really trying to work on it though. I like the advice to just breath, or to think about being on the beach! I've been trying to use that advice more regularly lately :)
Glad the test went so well! I am laid back about most things, but when I get stuck in traffic my head almost explodes!
I know the feeling, glad the test worked out ok for you.
I can totally relate! I tend to stress myself out over the stupidest things, but I can't help it sometimes and just try my best not to. I think it's important to take a big breath and just have a positive thought that things will work out in the end :) (easier said than done!) I wish I could be more laid back. That salad sure looks scrumptious! I'm sure the running will get better on my body because I think I like it and I'll just have to keep trying :)
Hey Melissa! I definitely can stress myself out and often realize, like you did, that it wasn't something to really stress about. The days before class (Monday and Tuesday) I'm usually not in a good mood at all because even though I'm prepared and doing well, class always gives me a little anxiety. Thursdays are the best though - its like I let it all out. I'm trying to get better about it. I think realizing it happens is the first step. Hehe. :)
Hope you're having a more stress-free day today!
I am always a Stressed Out Sally! I try to not get so worked up because oftentimes it isn't very productive. Interestingly, the things that should stress me out typically don't but I get VERY worked up over silly things.
I need to get another spaghetti squash - they are so delicious!
Spaghetti squash goes perfectly with just about everything. I love that stuff.
I am a little ball of stress all the time but I am trying to work on it...it is a long process though!
