Select Harvest Giveaway

As you know from this post. I'm a big fan of Campbell's Select Harvest Soups. Campbell's is a brand that the everyday consumer recognizes and I appreciate the effort they're making to provide affordable, all natural, products to the public. I was contacted by Maureen from Campbell's asking if I'd like to try their new Mediterranean Diet inspired varieties. She also offered to give three Melissa Nibbles readers the same opportunity! All you have to do win is visit their website to check out their new varieties, come back here and leave a comment about your experience with the Mediterranean Diet. Have you tried it? Why or why not?

You have until Friday at 5pm to enter. I'll pick three winners at random and announce them Friday evening. Good luck!

Awesome! I've been to a Med Diet conference and I'm a fan of Oldways. Oldways advocates better ways of eating and drinking through science, tradition, and delicious foods. I've read a book about the Med Diet (think lots of olive oil and wine) and have Oldways book too.

I haven't tried a Mediterranean diet yet maybe I ought to!

Mmm, Zesty Tomato Bisuqe, and Minestrone, please!
I have never tried these soups, but soup is my all time favorite winter food (ok, except for spaghetti squash and squash in general...). As for the Mediterranean diet, I think I do pretty well at living by the rules. I eat a lot of whole grains, nuts, seeds, fruits and veggies, and of course I love wine (well, beer, close enough) and I only have one unless at a party (which is pretty rare). I also eat a lot of fish and not much red meat at all. Go me! Well heck, I AM Italian!

The Minestrone looks good to me! I've never actually tried to follow the diet but I eat pretty similar to it! I love fruits, veggies, fish, everything that the diet calls for.

I did try it last year before going to France, just to try and get into the whole mindset. I loved the idea of taking your tie eating, and appreciating food, and I've definitely kept that aspect up. Other than that, I find it hard to get into a lot of the same foods when they just aren't convenient to the American's day to day life

I would love to try the light minestrone with whole grain pasta. I don't think I could ever adopt one single "diet" but I do appreciate certain aspects of the mediterranean diet, such as whole grains, fruits, veggies, fish, and of course WINE!! :)

I bet the tomato bisque is excellent!

I really love all things seafood, olive oil, garlic, tomato, and fresh herbs...so I think I am pretty much a regular Mediterranean dieter! :-)

I would love to try the tomato bisque too!

I can't eat too much of the mediterranean diet because of my food allergies (no nuts and seeds for me) but I do try to eat olive oil and fresh fruits, veggies and fish. I also have reduced my meat intake!

soups completely make my winter!! without them I would be one sad gal, because both you and I know how the temps can DROP here quick! Love the meditterean diet and the concept of healthy fats. ALSO my father is middleeastern so we always have plenty of olive oil, nuts and seeds, hummus and such in the house!

love a classic minestrone!
