I was going to meet up with a friend for tea after work, but he got stuck at work so I just ended up going home and watching GH. I haven't seen my friend in almost a year and a half. We used to hang out all the time, but then he got a girlfriend and she didn't like him talking to his friends that are girls. They broke up a month ago, so I guess we're friends again??? I don't know... After watching GH, I watched two episodes of "Say Yes To The Dress." Melissa is to blame for this new obsession. I can't believe how much money people will spend on a dress! I'd buy a condo or a car, not a dress. To each their own though. Anyway, after being a couch potato for a few hours, I figured it'd be a good idea to eat something. I was craving a sandwich earlier in the day and figured I should honor that craving at dinner.
I mashed a little more than 1/4 cup chick peas with some fat free ranch dressing, spread them on two slices of Ezekial 4:9 with sprouts, pickles, tomato, and cheddar cheese. Carrot fries on the side please! This dinner hit the spot.
I'm having trouble deciding what I want to do workout wise tomorrow. It's a strength training day and my gym is offering a Zumba class at 5pm. I might strength train in the morning then go to Zumba at night. I hate thinking about working out all day though. If I don't go to Zumba at night, I'll just strength train and do the elliptical for 20 minutes in the morning. It would be fun to mix it up though...What do you think I should do? Sleep well my dears :)

That looks like a great sammie! Zumba is a lot of fun! I haven't been able to get to a class in months. I bet you would love it!
I'd probably do Zumba, because I love Zumba! Dinner looks delicious!

I still need to try carrot fries! I keep for getting until I read that you've made them again!
The sandwich and fries both look really yum! Do you broil the fries?
I Am doing the elliptical today, and some light weights. I think you should do the elliptical with me! :)
Another great sammich!
I'd probably daydream about going to zumba and then just workout in the morning. Hehe...I'm a bit scared of it! :)
Happy Tuesday!
you are a carrot fry queen! (and I love it)
hmm about the gym and workouts ( I am sure you decided already by now) but I would so the strength workout if you are feeling strong and it can be a great rush to start your day! personally I hate working out at night too! its all i think about and i always feel blah by then...what did you decide?!
Back on line and finally catching up with my blog reading: I love the new layout - I have to get on mine - I might e-mail you with some blog questions...
I think it's too late to weigh in on your workout - you've probably already done part of it :) but I look forward to hearing about it.
Hahaha, my apologies!
My goal is to get up early tomorrow and go to a spin class before sitting in the car for 6 hours. Not sure if I'll be able to get up though!
Well since this was yesterday, I cannot give my advice - but I hope you enjoyed whatever you did!
My friends are OBSESSED with Say Yes to the Dress. I can't watch it because it makes me too angry that people are that insane, hah! I know it's your wedding and you should be excited but some people are way over the top! I haven't seen GH in years!
Your sandwich and carrot fries look great! I must make both of those!
I know what you mean about worrying about a night workout all day. I'd say do your strength training in the morning and try to go to Zumba at night too. At least if you decide not to go to Zumba, you still did some sort of activity!
How do you make carrot fries? They look good!
@Julie: You cut them into fry shape, massage with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake them in the oven at 425 for 20 minutes turning once. It's that easy!
I love chickpea mashes!
I need to try carrot fries - hopefully I will remember to buy some carrots at the store this weekend!
