Newman's Giveaway!

I received a huge package (that's what she said) from Newman's Own the other day.

There's no way I'll be able to get through all this food alone and I don't need this many packages of cookies in my apartment. What better excuse for a giveaway?!

You can win this bundle of goodies:

I decided to get a little creative with this giveaway. Everyone I know keeps asking me what I'm doing and what I want for my 30th birthday, this is where you guys come in. To enter the giveaway, leave a comment telling me what you think I should do to celebrate my 30th birthday and what I should tell people I want. Then, if you have a blog, post a link on your blog about the giveaway and post the linkback here. It's that easy! I'll pick a winner on Wednesday November 25th at 5PM. Good luck

Happy early birthday. :)

I don't need an entry in the contest, the lovely people at NOO sent me a package recently. I'm having a "review party" tomorrow so I'm not tempted to eat everything myself.

Have you tried the Super Dark chocolate? Yumm!

Haha I love this idea. I think you should take 30 shots!!

Hahahaha (PLEASE DON't!!). I think you should buy 30 things for yourself. They don't have to be expensive i.e. TJs items :)

Cool idea! One of my good friends is coming to visit me in the Azores for her 30th birthday, so the offer is open for you too! Well, just a thought. On the other hand, a more reasonable idea would be an all out spa day, the works! If you select a spa where you want to do this you can ask people to buy you gift certificates for there, and if multiple get you these then it should tyake care of a chunk of the cost for the spa day. Great giveaway goods and a fun way enter, awesome idea.

Wow! They really did send you a lot! I'd enter, but I don't want boxes of cookies either!

I'm not sure what I would suggest for your birthday. On my 30th birthday, we had a quiet night at home! We had just gotten back from a week of wedding festivities, a week of honeymooning, and a week of traveling to my hubby's homestate. We were exhausted by the time my birthday rolled around!

Hmmmmm....I think you should go sky diving!! That's what I'm going to do, I hope :)

Tell people you want them to leave you alone about your birthday! JK Tell them you want something super expensive, like a vita mix or plasama TV or Tiffany's or a Coach bag. And to celebrate you should create an event on facebook titled "Come celebrate my 30th!!" and basically throw yourself a party and invite everyone on your friends list, even people you never talk to, and expect them to pay for your drinks/dinner (I hate when people do this).

You should throw an ethnic appetizer party! Have everyone bring a bottle of wine or ethnic appetizer dish to share. You supply the plates, napkins, and wine glasses! And maybe a little music!

I think dinner and a movie with friends is a timeless way to celebrate a birthday. Have you heard of Grezzo's? They are all raw and vegan in Boston and sound good, though I've never been. If you like Italian, Tomasso Trattoria in Southborough is a must. And you should tell them you want them to pay, lol.

Woo, the big 3-0!
I think for your birthday, you should do a kind of 30-Dares Scavenger Hunt like getting a random stranger's number! Lol.
Or, just a little party where everyone brings something they used to love to eat from when they were in their childhood, teens, and twenties. Food through the stages of life!

For your 30th birthday, I suggest...

Getting dressed up and going somewhere fun for dinner and drinks. Cuz like I said before, "Thiry and flirty and thriving!" :)

Do 3 things you've always want to do and 0 things that you hate! Have people take you out for all 3 meals of the day. And maybe make each meal into a 3 course affair!

Oh my gosh! You are too sweet! I would LOVE to take some of those cookies off of your hands (and I'm sure my roommates wouldn't mind either! haha).

30th birthday!? Hmm...that's a big one! Well, an over-the-top idea is to go on a cruise (perhaps you've been there, done that?!). However, I always enjoy a good dinner and movie with some close friends! As far as what you want for your birthday....hmmm...do you have a Keva Juice nearby? If so, ask for a Keva Gift Kard. It's equal to it's weight in gold! ;)

So glad that I stumbled upon your blog!

Gah, Gina stole my idea! Such a fun way to spend a birthday - I created a scavenger hunt for my ex boyfriend's 26 birthday, with 26 things that he loved, places, music, food, streets, items, etc. and he loved it.

Since you don't want to do all of that for yourself though (hint, hint friends and boyfriend!), you should tell people that you want their best memories of you over the past 30 years and put them into a book/box or somewhere else that you can keep. That way you'll have great memories that will make you laugh (hopefully!) and remind you of how great you are, at any time :)

Thanks for the giveaway too! Love Newman's!

Dinner and a movie should be how you celebrate. Ask for a whole food GC and then you can buy some wonderful food.

Yummy! I love Newman's Own, especially since they donate some of their profits to charity. I think you should have a spa day with a nice massage or facial? Or maybe a nice picnic?

I think birthday potlucks are great. Have some games, eat some good food, and spend time with your friends!

Thanks for the NOO giveway! I'm crossing my fingers!

Missy said...

Thanks for the giveaway! I'd say have some sort of potluck. Have everyone bring their favorite dish or dessert (and drinks!!) and have an awesome dinner! I would ask for some sort of kitchen tool to keep the theme going. Or maybe a gift card to Amazon so you can pick what you want!
